BBC news filming Cook5 with CRuNCH
In March 2025 BBC Points West came to film a Cook5 with CRuNCH session at Worle Community School Academy (WCSA). We were on the breakfast, lunch and evening news!
Fajitas Day at Worle Community School
Fajitas is one of the all time favourites on the Cook5 menu. It's a great way to introduce the benefits of a rainbow diet and kids love to make a 'fakeaway'!
Making Meatballs in Spicy Tomato Sauce
At WCSA we are running a cross-curricular project working with the Spanish department - teenagers learn about Spanish culture, the Mediterranean diet, some relevant vocabulary and make 5 healthy tapas over the 5 week course. This week 'Albondigas con Salsa Picante' or Spanish Meatballs with a Spicy Tomato Sauce...yum!
